The review board reads all submissions within 7–14 days. You will not receive an individual response for every nomination, but if your submission is selected for publication, we will reach out before publishing. Monthly hero selections are announced at the end of each calendar month.

We ask for your name and email for verification purposes only these are never published. However, we do require a valid email to accept a nomination, as it helps us verify authenticity. Your contact information will not appear on the site.

Send us a message using the contact form above and select "Nomination Status." Include the driver's name, approximate submission date, and the update you'd like to make. If your submission hasn't been reviewed yet, we'll update it. If it's already been published, let us know and we'll discuss options.

Absolutely. Driver dignity is central to this program. If you were nominated and do not wish to be featured, contact us and we will remove or withhold your story immediately, no questions asked. We may publish a story anonymously if it represents an important moment, but only with careful attention to privacy.

No. The Highway Hero is an independent recognition program. It is sponsored by FreightValidate, an identity and compliance verification platform, but the editorial decisions and driver selections are made independently by the review board. No carrier, broker, or freight company has any influence over which drivers are recognized.
